My name is Kenji Mori. I grew up in Matsumoto, a quiet mountain town in Nagano, Japan before my family moved to the west coast of the US when I was still young. My auntie came with us - a lifelong weaver who I used to sit beside for hours, watching her hands work until she finally gave in and taught me herself.

Around the same time I was obsessed with manga. Long before I could read the words I'd just sit with volumes in my lap staring at the panels - the expressions, the linework, the way a single page could make you feel everything. That love grew into anime and never left.

Anime by Ken is what happens when those two worlds collide. Every blanket carries both - my auntie's craft and my love for this art form. I pour real care into every piece and I hope when you hold one you can feel that.
